PM Narendra Modi pays tribute to Sardar Patel on his birth anniversary

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday paid tribute to Sardar Patel on his birth anniversary along with several other leaders including Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung.
Apart from floral tributes at his memorial in Patel Chowk in New Delhi, PM Modi will also flag off a marathon, Run for Unity, as homage to India’s first deputy prime minister, who is often hailed as the unifier of India.
PM Modi will also dedicate a museum in New Delhi to Sardar Patel on Monday evening.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was a social leader who played a leading role in the country’s struggle for independence and guided its integration into a united, independent nation.
