Rahul Gandhi reaches Bhiwani to attend Army veteran Ram Kishan Grewal’s cremation

The last rites of army veteran Ram Kishan Grewal who committed suicide over One Rank One Pension (OROP) issue is going to take place near Bhiwani in Haryana on Thursday. Rahul Gandhi is expected to attend the last rites.
The suicide stormed huge political slugfest with detainment of leaders like Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Congress MLA Randeep Surjewala. Later, they were released from custody.
The leaders were detained while they went to meet the family of deceased at RML hospital in Delhi. Meanwhile, the ex-servicemen’s body was sent to his home town Bhiwani in Haryana after the postmortem.
