‘Dangal’ box-office collection: Amidst release of ‘Raees’ and ‘Kaabil’, will Aamir Khan starrer continue its box office success?

There’s no stopping Aamir Khan-starrer ‘Dangal’ that has continued its triumphant run at the box-office since December 23. The Nitesh Tiwari-directed film has collected as much as Rs 200.65 crore in the overseas circuit. Considering the movie earned a whopping Rs 381.07 crore in India till January 22, its worldwide collection now has exceeded Rs 581.72 crore.

For the uninitiated, the sports film also gained Rs 100 crore in just Mumbai circuit, which is a huge feat in itself. ‘Dangal’ also holds the distinction of being the highest grossing film in Bollywood.

The film also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra and Sakshi Tanwar in pivotal roles. While the film has dominated the box-office so far, it will be interesting to see how the release of biggies ‘ Raees ‘ and ‘ Kaabil ‘ affects its run.
