In a tragic incident on Tuesday, a 20-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself in Nair Hospital Hostel. Kumari Bhagya Laxmi, a second-year student of Bachelor of Dental Science course at Nair Hospital Dental College hanged herself in her hostel room, police said.
According to reports, she was rushed to KEM hospital, where the doctors declared her brought dead. The Residents Doctors Association said that Laxmi was under tremendous pressure because of her studies.
Accidental death report registered at Kalachowki Police Station.
