Schedule of Local Trains on Central, Harbour And Western Line
Central Railway and Western Railway will conduct Mumbai Mega Block on most of the Sundays for the maintenance works of rail racks and other related works under both the Railway zones.
Central Railway’s Train Block is called Mega Block and Western Railway’s Train Block is called Jumbo Block.
Central Railway announced the details of Mega Block on Harbour Line and Central Line on Sunday, 17.06.2018. Western Railway also announced Jumbo Block details in Western Line on 17.06.2018.
Central Railway will carry out the work of slewing of existing down local line from Km 7.779 to km 8.671 and connecting with pre laid new track between Parel and Dadar stations and commissioning of New Down local line platform at Parel station on 17.6.2018 (Sunday) from 9.30 am to 05.30 pm.(8 hours)
Due to this work the train running pattern will be as under:-
Diversion of Suburban Services
Dn slow line suburban services leaving CSMT from 9.05 am to 5.24 pm will be diverted on Dn fast line between Byculla and Matunga stations halting at Parel (double halt), Dadar and Matunga stations and further re-diverted to Dn local line.
Dn suburban services will not be available at Chinchpokli and Curry Road stations. However passengers of these stations are permitted to travel via Parel.
Additional Halts
Dn fast/semi fast services leaving CSMT from 9.29 am to 4.45 pm will halt at Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Diva stations in addition to their respective schedule halts and will arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.
Up fast/semi fast locals leaving Kalyan/Thane from 9.07/9.30 am to 4.02 pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
All Dn and Up slow line services leaving / arriving CSMT between 9.30 am to 5.30 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
HARBOUR LINE
CSMT – CHUNABHATTI /BANDRA DN HARBOUR LINE (11.40 am – 4.40 pm)
And
CHUNABHATTI / BANDRA – CSMT UP HARBOUR LINE (11.10 am – 4.10 pm)
Dn Harbour line services to Vashi / Belapur /Panvel leaving CSMT Mumbai/Vadala Road from 11.34 am to 4.47 pm and Dn Harbour line services to Bandra/Andheri/Goregaon leaving CSMT from 9.56 am to 4.43 pm will remain suspended.
Up Harbour line services for CSMT Mumbai leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 9.53 am to 3.20 pm and Up Harbour line services leaving Bandra/Andheri/Goregaon from 10.45 am to 4.58 pm will remain suspended.
However, Special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No.8) during the block period. Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm during block period.
WESTERN LINE
CHURCHGATE – MUMBAI CENTRAL (10.35 am – 03.35 pm)
To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo block will be taken on Up and Down slow lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central (Local) from 10.35 am to 03.35 pm on Sunday, 17th June 2018.
During the block period, all slow line trains will be operated on fast lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central (Local). Due to this, some Up and Dn Suburban trains will remain cancelled.
