Married man in Bihar sexually exploits woman with fake promise of marriage, case filed
A 24-year-old woman in Bihar’s Jamui has filed a case against a man for sexually abusing her with the promise of marriage.
The man, identified as Sonu Raj aka Congress Yadav, lied about his marital status to the girl, Neera Kumar, a resident of Jhajha in Jamui. With a fake promise of marrying her, he developed physical relations with her.
As soon as Neera found out the truth, she, along with her father, filed a police complaint alleging sexual harassment.
In her written complaint, Neera said Congress Yadav had convinced her that he was a bachelor and promised her marriage. The victim alleged that Congress Yadav lied to her and sexually abused her for three years.
Neera’s father said that whenever he thought of getting his daughter married, Yadav would threaten to abduct her.
Meanwhile, DSP Rakesh Kumar said that the statement of the victim had been recorded. Police will act on the complaint and the accused will be arrested soon.
